Cow Tipping Creamery: The Three-quel

Well they’ve done it again.  You may be thinking I only eat at Cow Tipping Creamery.  Alas, I do not.  But that doesn’t mean I don’t go there a lot.  On this night, in honor of a fellow food friend’s birthday (Happy Birthday Jeff!), upon his request (based on my first CTC blog post), I returned.  Determined to try everything on the menu, I made the tough choice to forego the Fluffer Nutter (which is what Jeff got), and instead opted for the At The Ritz.cow tipping creamery at the ritz 1

Another item from the “Stacker” section, we’re talking Tahitian vanilla soft serve, homemade hot fudge*, peanut butter sauce, Ritz crunch, and homemade whipped cream.  Ridiculous.  At first it was a little light on flavor, with the first few bites made up solely of ice cream and Ritz.  But then a tidal wave of hot fudge and peanut butter sauce took over.  Now we’re talkin’!  It didn’t take long to devour the entire cup, including the special, VIP-only layer of hot fudge on the very bottom.

*We learned that the matriarch (and real boss) tested every hot fudge recipe she could find, picked out what she liked and didn’t like, and created her own proprietary Cow Tipping Creamery hot fudge.  Nailed it.

I also had the pleasure to meet Cole (son) and Tim (dad).  If you remember, these are the two who offered me the free S’mores Stacker.  Cole recognized me as I ordered, and later both he and Tim came out to chat for a few minutes.  It’s so great to be able to enjoy an amazing ice cream sundae and get to talk to the guy who makes it happen.  When I reiterated how blown away I was by how nice it was they gave me a free dessert on my last visit, Tim said it best:

You don’t go into the ice cream business to be a hard ass.

Truth.
